About the ME52W Unidirectional Noise-Cancelling Microphone
Background noise is the enemy of accurate transcription and speech recognition. The ME52W plugs into your recorder's 3.5 mm microphone jack and records in one direction only, cutting much of the surrounding noise. It comes with a windscreen, tie clip and 1 m extension cord. (Recorders with a 2.5 mm jack need the PA-3 plug adapter.)
Digital voice recorders provide great solutions for voice recognition applications. However, background noise will sometimes cause a problem. The ME-52W plugs directly into your digital recorder's 3.5mm microphone jack for uni-directional recording in high-noise environments. It will cut down on much of the background noise and result in a more accurate transcription. It also comes with a windscreen cover, a tie-clip and a 3.3ft extension cord. Note: When using a recorder with a 2.5mm mic jack, purchase the PA-3 Plug Adapter.
