Slide switches (DPM8000 series) suit experienced authors who edit as they dictate, with insert, overwrite and append. Push buttons (DPM6000) are simpler for new users.
Do you need encryption?
If you handle client or patient data, choose the DPM8000 series. It offers real-time 256-bit AES encryption and a PIN lock.
Software bundled or hardware only?
The DPM8000 includes SpeechExec Pro Dictate. Choose the DPM8100 if your organisation already runs SpeechExec Enterprise or SpeechLive.
Setting up a typist too?
The DPM6700 set includes everything for one author and one typist: recorder, foot pedal, headphones and software.
